Six short-term missionaries from the U.S. visited Estonia from August 7–18.
They helped us lead a week-long adult Bible camp with 30 participants at the Home of Hope. The theme was “Seeking God’s Love,” and we focused on the Sermon on the Mount. We approached it from a different perspective—not as God’s command to us, but as an expression of God’s love. With each teaching in the Sermon on the Mount, we asked: How do I see God’s love here?
Here are some memories and reflections from the short-term missionaries.

The most tender day for me was our journey to southern Estonia, walking in the steps of Pastor Eenok Haamer. This trip to Estonia, diving into its history and its people, spending time with the women in our small group—oh, I miss them—and the churches, the churches! And the pipe organs!

These people are so welcoming to us. They listen to our stories, they listen to our Bible studies, and then they share back with us. So we are both giving and receiving at the same time. There is nothing that has been more rewarding in my life than this, my first trip abroad.
Valerie Schuberg, St. Charles, IL
It’s just so encouraging to be in this place that offers people a way to grow in their faith, and a safe space where they can show up and be encouraged by other believers. And I have been so encouraged by the stories I have been hearing from just everyone that I have met here. It’s just so amazing, the work that God has been doing in this place.
In the video below, we share a heartwarming glimpse of the American missionaries’ visit to Estonia—including the place where our founder, Pastor Eenok Haamer, once had to hide during the Soviet occupation, and the God-blessed moments we experienced together at the Bible camp.
OUR SITUATION
Thank you for your prayers and support—we’re so grateful.
Our financial gap has grown to $58,889, and ministry needs continue.
If you’re able, would you consider giving this month? Every gift helps us to continue sharing the Gospel in Estonia.
We couldn’t do this without you. Thank you!
