Cast the Net

CAST THE NET–New Digital Mission Project

At the end of February, we launched our new digital mission project, “Cast the Net”.

This project has been in preparation and prayer for a long time. It is a joy to finally see it begin.

Through social media content and targeted advertisements, we are reaching out to people here in Estonia who may be seeking God or quietly wrestling with spiritual questions. When someone responds, we begin a personal conversation online and, when possible, invite them to meet in person so they can hear God’s Word, be invited to follow Jesus, and become connected to a local congregation.

Our first ad asks: ‘What would need to happen for you to say, ‘Okay… I’m ready to believe in God?’

Already within the very first hours, people were already responding. We have begun conversations and we pray that these connection will lead to in person meetings.

Please pray:
For open hearts among those who respond.
For wisdom and discernment for our team in each conversation.
* For lasting fruit—that people would come to faith in Christ and be rooted in His Church.

HELP TO ENCOURAGE Estonian Business Leaders

On April 9, we will host a Fundraising Gala Dinner at Home of Hope, focusing on eliminating the mortgage while also supporting Pastoral Care.

Estonian business leaders have been invited, and two well-known Estonian painters have donated their artwork for a live auction.

Would you consider establishing a matching fund for the event? Our goal is to raise $50,000 that evening, and a matching fund would be a meaningful encouragement for Estonian business leaders to give generously.

If you would like to contribute to the matching fund, please email Siimon Haamer at [email protected] no later than April 5, indicating the amount of your special gift.

Please do not redirect your regular giving—we are seeking additional, special gifts to maximize the impact.

PROMISES

At the end of February, we launched the Promises campaign to complete the establishment of the Home of Hope—a Christian outreach center in Estonia.

By God’s grace,
86% of the total cost has already been paid,
and about $350,000 remains.
The mortgage is due January 31, 2027.

Inspired by Joshua 4:2-3,24, we will set up a memorial of 12 stones of Promises at Home of Hope as a remembrance of the journey that brought this center into being—bearing witness for generations to come that God is faithful and keeps His promises.

  • For every $30,000 paid off, one stone will be placed—until twelve stones stand.
