WILL YOU PRAY WITH US?

The prayer chain will take place from November 2nd to 4th, 2023. 48 hours have been divided into 4 periods (time zone US Central Time):

• 1st period: Nov. 2nd 10pm to Nov. 3rd 10am - ESTONIANS PRAY
• 2nd period: Nov. 3rd 10am to Nov. 3rd 10pm - AMERICANS PRAY
• 3rd period: Nov. 3rd 10pm to Nov. 4th 10am - ESTONIANS PRAY
• 4th period: Nov. 4th 10am to Nov. 4th 10pm - AMERICANS PRAY

Each period has been divided into 30 minute slots. But if you'd like you could pray for more than 30 minutes and just take more slots. There's no limit for that.

During your 30 minute slot we kindly ask for you to look at the prayer requests (listed below) and in your own preferred prayer method (singing, silent prayer, group prayer etc.) and location (home, church etc.) take time to bring those topics in front of God.

To be sure that we cover the whole 48h, we'd like to ask you to choose the time suitable for you to pray and register in the form brought out below.

If you miss the opportunity to book a specific time, you can still pray on these prayer topics at a time that suit you.

PRAYER TOPICS

We want to focus on America, Estonia and Tartu Academy of Theology & Home of Hope. It is crucial to support one another through paryer. We also have to remember to pray for Ukraine and Israel.

SPECIFIC PRAYER REQUESTS ARE BROUGHT OUT HERE:

AMERICA

• Pray for the awakening in America.
• Pray for the Protection of Religious Liberty.
• Pray that God’s people will demonstrate a spirit of repentance and prayer--individually and corporately.
• Pray that godly men and women will be placed in positions of authority.
• Pray that Christians will avoid negativity, fault-finding, & demonstrate Christian love.
• Pray that the right of parental authority for minor children will not be taken away.
• Pray for America as a nation who has lost its way.
• Pray that vulnerable people--babies and elderly will be valued.

ESTONIA / TARTU ACADEMY OF THEOLOGY

• Pray for the awakening in Estonia.
• Pray for Christians in Estonia and that they would continuously stand in biblical teaching.
• Pray for a new generation of clergy to grow up in Estonia.
• Pray for the people in positions of authority that they would ask for God’s guidance.
• Pray that Tartu Academy of Theology and its outreach center Home of Hope would bear good fruit in mission work in Estonia:
  • Academical studies;
  • Bible school;
  • Youth work;
  • Pastoral care work.
• Pray for the Christian radio station located in Home of Hope.
• Pray for the Home of Hope’s mortgage payoff and ask God for guidance on how you can help us accomplish this goal (due date is Nov. 15th, 2024 and around 1 million dollars still needs to be paid).

UKRAINE AND ISRAEL

• Pray for peace in Ukraine and Israel.
• Pray for mercy for those who suffer.
• Pray for the persecutors to repent and ask for forgiveness.

$1 MILLION TO GO

$1.2 million has been raised. 

$1 MILLION STILL NEEDS TO BE RAISED BEFORE NOVEMBER 15, 2024, to:

• pay off the mortgage and become full owners of the Home of Hope facility;
• sustain this great tool for the work of the Kingdom of God;
• get a permanent source of income to finance our mission work (in three years, we have earned $100,000 from the rent of premises which covers all maintenance costs and much more)

The lender is the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church. Our payments go back to the fund that finances the construction of churches. The money paid as interest will be used to:

• publish a new church hymnal;
• support the church’s youth work.

Paying off the loan maintains our independence in preaching the Word of God.
