Testimony Of Christian Fellowship

TESTIMONY OF CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP ACROSS OCEANS

We are deeple encouraged by many people who have already supported Home of Hope in this final stage of its establishment. Thank you for your encouragement!

Our journey, however, is not yet completed, and we still need your help.

So far, we have paid off $1.62 million, leaving a remaining balance of $599,693 with the mortgage due on November 15 of this year.

Please do not be discouraged by the amount or deadline. I have worked hard to build supportive network in both the United States and in Estonia. Over the past two and half years I have visited 70 churches across the States.

We all together give a powerful testimony to the people of Estonia–that we, as Christians, share a fellowship that reaches across oceans, uniting us all as one body in Jesus Christ. I am heartened to see also many Estonian Christians joining in this testimony of faith.

While we place our full trust in the Lord, we also know He often works through His people, which is why I humbly ask for your support.

Please consider making a gift as a testimony of Christian fellowship. Your contirbution will be combined with the gifts of the Estonian people. Together we can complete the establishment of Home of Hope.

I trust that God has a solution and a role for each of us in His plan. Please pray for guidance!

DEADLINE FLEXIBILITY

Although the loan payment deadline is officially November 15, we have been granted some additional time. I have informed the lender, the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church, that it may take a little longer to confirm last-minute donations and transfer funds to Estonia. Understanding our situation, they are allowing us flexibility, with payments accepted until the end of this year without penalty.

It would be ideal to confirm all donations by the end of the first week of December, so I can assure the lender that funds are on their way. However, if you need more time, please contribute when you can–your support is invaluable, even if it arrives after the original deadline or in January.

FIRST ESTONIA DINNER IN DENVER ON OCTOBER 10

From September 26 to October 15, I toured the United States and made a brief stop also in Denver, where friends organized an Estonia Dinner on the evening of October 10. We were fortunate to find authentic Estonian bread and sprats locally. We captured this special moment on video—check it out below!

On November 16, Grace Lutheran Church in Ridgecrest, CA, will host an Estonia Dinner for all church members. Pastor Kris Madsen shared, “I think the Estonia Dinner is a great idea, a creative way to build a relationship where there otherwise isn’t one to speak of.”

They held a small trial dinner for about 10 people to prepare for hosting a larger group of 50 to 75. Now they’re ready for the main event and I have promised to send them my video greeting.

You, too, can host an Estonia Dinner to introduce Estonia and our mission work to your friends and fellow church members. Find more information at tatest.org/dinner.

Let’s go on prayerfully and trusting God!
