18 SEMINARY STUDENTS GRADUATED
On June 26th, we had the joy of celebrating the graduation of students from our joint academic program with the Lutheran Church Seminary. This year, we are grateful to announce that 7 students graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, 5 completed the Master’s program, and 6 finished the Church Music course—bringing us to a total of 18 new alumni.
Among them:
- 3 are already serving as assistant pastors in congregations,
- 3 are engaged in pastoral care in hospitals and nursing homes,
- 2–3 are planning to continue their studies in a Master’s program, and
- 2 will enter a one-year pastoral training program on the path to becoming ordained Lutheran pastors.
We give thanks for each of these students—for their commitment, their growth, and their call to serve. We also pray for God’s continued blessing on our shared academic mission with the Lutheran Church Seminary.
We rejoice with our graduates and lift them up in prayer, asking the Lord to bless and guide them as they step into new roles of ministry and service.
In this short video, four of our graduates reflect on their journey at the Seminary—what they’ve learned, how they’ve been shaped, and how they sense God leading them forward.
OUR CURRENT FINANCIAL SITUATION
Our ministry continues to be a daily journey of trusting God. We haven’t been able to build financial reserves, as every extra contribution opens the door for new opportunities to expand our mission work. Designated gifts for Home of Hope help us stay on track with mortgage payments.
However, this spring and early summer have brought financial challenges. We’ve fallen short of our budget goals and, now past the halfway point of the year, we find ourselves approximately $45,000 behind. This shortfall is starting to affect our ability to meet essential, day-to-day ministry needs.
We’re so thankful for the recent donations that have helped slow down our deficit. It’s encouraging to see the gap not growing as quickly—but each new month still brings its own financial needs.
We are deeply grateful for every prayer and every gift that allows us to continue the work we’ve been called to.
Thank you for being our partner.
