ONE-MINUTE BIBLE STUDY
On Home of Hope’s Instagram & Youtube
Together with Pastor Kristjan Luhamets of St. Paul’s Church in Tartu, we are creating one-minute Bible study videos. In each episode, Pastor Kristjan takes one Bible passage, Christian idea, or thought-provoking question and explains it in just one minute.
As a result, these short, fast-paced videos offer a lighthearted but meaningful way to connect with young people on social media.
You can watch the videos on Home of Hope’s Instagram and YouTube channel. The easiest way to stay up to date is to follow Home of Hope on Instagram or subscribe to our YouTube channel, so you’ll be notified when new videos are posted.

CAST THE NET
Social media outreach in Estonia
CAST THE NET is a digital mission initiative that uses social media to reach people in Estonia who are spiritually curious, searching for meaning, or open to exploring faith.
Estonia is one of the most secular countries in Europe. Many people have questions about God, faith, prayer, suffering, hope, or the meaning of life, but they may not personally know a Christian or have a natural pathway into church life. For this reason, CAST THE NET was created to help bridge that gap.
Through thoughtful Christian content and targeted online campaigns, we invite people into personal conversations about faith. From there, we help them take meaningful next steps — from online engagement to real-life connection with Christians, small groups, and local churches.
How it works
CAST THE NET follows a simple but deeply relational pathway:
- First, a person encounters Christian content or advertising on social media.
- Then, a personal conversation begins online.
- Next, the person is connected with a Christian who can offer personal follow-up.
- After that, a face-to-face meeting takes place.
- From there, the person is invited to explore God’s Word in a small group or relational setting.
- Over time, faith is lived out, shared, and nurtured in Christian community.
- Finally, when appropriate, the person is connected with a local congregation through baptism and confirmation.
Early results
CAST THE NET is still in its early stage. However, we have already seen encouraging signs:
- We have carried out 2 campaigns
- We have reached approximately 40,000 people
- We have initiated more than 60 one-on-one conversations
These early results show that people in Estonia are willing to engage with questions of faith when they are reached in a personal, respectful, and relevant way.
Partnership with churches
CAST THE NET is built in cooperation with local churches and nationwide partners. As more churches join the initiative, the network grows through trained Christians who are ready to meet seekers personally, explore God’s Word with them, and help them become part of a Christian community.
In this way, digital outreach becomes more than online communication. It becomes a pathway into real relationships, Christian community, and a living connection with God.
