Dear Friends in Christ,
We are deeply grateful for your support during this challenging time. Thanks to your generosity, we are moving closer to meeting our financial commitments for this year. At the moment, we still have a gap of $89,195 to close.
We also have truly wonderful—and very recent—news to share: a $100,000 gift has been made toward the Home of Hope mortgage! This means that only $328,069 remains. Since we began this journey in the spring of 2018 with $0, we have now raised 85% of the total—an incredible testimony to God’s faithfulness and to your partnership.
At this moment, our biggest task is to meet urgent need and balance the 2025 budget. Thank you for praying with us and helping make this possible.
Celebrating God’s Blessing and the Faithfulness of Our Workers and Volunteers
We are preparing for Christmas with grateful hearts.
Over the past weeks, we have hosted three Christmas gatherings. At these events, several people shared testimonies of how Home of Hope and its mission have touched their lives.
It was truly moving to see more than 30 people gathered for our staff and active volunteers’ Christmas evening—and even then, several were unable to attend. Reflecting on how we began and where we are today, this was a powerful reminder of how much Home of Hope has grown. Since 2019, many people have been part of this journey—serving, participating, and supporting the ministry in many different ways.
At our Bible School Christmas evening, participants shared a renewed desire to study Scripture more deeply. They also expressed gratitude for a place where we read the biblical text carefully, consider its context, and discuss it together. We pray that this strengthens believers to live out and share the Gospel in their daily lives.
The Young Adults Fellowship Christmas Special was a joyful and meaningful evening. We welcomed people who were new to the Gospel, those with questions, and committed Christians alike. We shared a meal, sang hymns, and—most importantly—proclaimed the Gospel and reflected on the true meaning of Christmas: the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We ask you to pray that those who joined us will continue attending our gatherings and grow closer to God.
To learn more, please watch the testimony of Anna-Katariina, one of the founders of the young adults fellowship evenings.
Please pray for wisdom and encouragement as we continue this mission with both boldness and gentleness, and that those who join us would come with open hearts. We are deeply grateful for everyone who prays for and supports this ministry.
We wish you a blessed Christmas season,
Pastor Siimon Haamer
President of Tartu Academy of Theology
