Dear Friends in Christ,
I am truly grateful to all of you for your generosity and friendship. One month before the end of last year, we were facing a $110,000 shortfall in our 2025 budget. Through your support and God’s gracious guidance, we were able to finish 2025 with a shortfall of only $3,823, which means our budget and overall financing were very well balanced.
This is a powerful testimony to God’s faithfulness and to your partnership.
Of course, this does not mean that our work is finished. A new year has begun, and we are committed to continuing our mission. We sincerely hope that we can count on your prayers, encouragement, and support throughout 2026 as well.
Blessings,
Pastor Siimon Haamer
President of Tartu Academy of Theology
Step Into a Living Testimony of Faith: PERSECUTION PILGRIMAGE to Estonia
Make this year special and different—by stepping into a living testimony of faith.
This year, we invite you to Estonia for a Persecution Pilgrimage, taking place June 5–13, 2026—a journey into the real stories of Christian endurance under Soviet occupation.
In the video below, Pastor Eenok Haamer shares a deeply personal memory: embracing his father, Pastor Harri Haamer, for the first time in seven years after his return from a Siberian slave labor camp. It was a moment he never forgot—and also the moment when Eenok’s own six years of hiding, much of it spent in an underground bunker, came to an end.
Stories like this are at the heart of this pilgrimage.
You will visit the very places where these events took place, hear firsthand accounts, and reflect together on what it means to trust God in times of suffering, fear, and uncertainty.
The pilgrimage will be led and guided by Pastor Siimon Haamer, son of Eenok and grandson of Harri.
This pilgrimage has been thoughtfully designed to be:
👉 Christ-centered
👉 Historically grounded
👉 Not physically demanding
👉 Centered on prayer, worship, and reflection
👉 Supported by comfortable accommodations and pastoral guidance
For those asking how to make this year meaningful in a way that truly lasts, this pilgrimage offers a powerful answer. We invite you to prayerfully consider this journey.
During the pilgrimage, you will also become acquainted with the mission work of the Tartu Academy of Theology and the Christian outreach center Home of Hope.
👉 Please do not be afraid to travel to Estonia. It is a safe country. In2025, our capital city, Tallinn, was elected the most secure city in Europe. Every year, American visitors come to Estonia, and they consistently testify that there is no reason to be hesitant.
👉 Registration deadline: February 28, 2026
Please do not wait until the last moment. The group size is limited to 15 participants, and registration is first come, first served. Several people have already confirmed their intention to participate.
