Although Estonia is a highly secular country, we remain hopeful. We also believe that Estonian business leaders can be inspired to support our mission work. Over the years, we have organized some fundraising events in the capital, Tallinn. Now, for the first time, on March 31, we are hosting a special GALA DINNER at the Home of Hope Christian outreach center to RAISE FUNDS for our daily activities, with a specific focus on pastoral care ministry.
Why Pastoral Care?
Even those who are not closely connected to the church understand the importance of mental and emotional well-being.
The need for pastoral care in Estonia is greater than ever:
🔹 28% of the population is at risk of depression
🔹 20% are at risk of anxiety disorders
🔹 43% experience signs of mental exhaustion
Pastoral caregivers provide essential spiritual and emotional support to those in need, and business leaders are beginning to recognize the critical role this work plays in society.
How You Can Make A Significant Impact
We invite you to encourage Estonian entrepreneurs by empowering their generosity through a matching fund. A generous couple from the U.S. has already provided a $5,000 matching gift, but we want to challenge Estonian business leaders with an even greater goal.
Our aim is to raise at least $30,000 in a single evening.
If you would like to contribute to the matching fund, please email me at [email protected] latest by March 30 to let me know the amount of your special gift.
⚠️ Please do not redirect your regular giving to the matching fund—we seek special gifts for this purpose to maximize the impact.
Thank you for standing with us in faith and generosity!
Blessings,
Pastor Siimon Haamer
President of Tartu Academy of Theology
