PROMISES – The Second Stone Is Paid Off
We are filled with joy and gratitude to share that we have reached the SECOND STONE of our Promises campaign!
The second stone is called The Promise of Consecration, inspired by Joshua 3:5:
“Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.”
Jakob Luhamets brought the second stone. Jakob is part of our Bible School team, and his father, Pastor Kristjan Luhamets, helps create our One Minute Bible Study content for social media.
This stone comes from a deeply meaningful place in our story: St. Paul’s Church in Tartu. In 1923, the church received a Carrara marble altar sculpture by Estonian sculptor Amandus Adamson, called “Come to Me, All Who Are Weary and Burdened.” It portrayed Jesus receiving those who were suffering, wounded, and longing for freedom.
During the war, on August 25, 1944, St. Paul’s Church was set on fire. Much of the church was destroyed, and the altar sculpture was badly damaged. Today, it remains only in broken pieces. One of those fragments has now been given for the Promises Memorial.
For Tartu Academy of Theology and Home of Hope, St. Paul’s Church also carries a special spiritual and family connection. From 1933 until his arrest and deportation in 1948, Pastor Harri Haamer — the father of Pastor Eenok Haamer and grandfather of Pastor Siimon Haamer — served there as pastor.
We invite you to watch the video and come along for this second step in the journey of the twelve stones.
To all of you who have prayed, encouraged us, and given so faithfully — THANK YOU!
Please continue to keep us and our ministry in your prayers. And if God places it on your heart, we warmly invite you to help us take the next step toward finishing the Home of Hope.

2025/26 Bible School Graduation
Another meaningful year of Home of Hope’s Bible School has come to an end!
This year, we were encouraged to see more than 50 people register for the course. About half of the participants joined online, making it possible for people from different places across Estonia to be part of the Bible School journey.
Throughout the year, participants studied God’s Word, asked thoughtful questions, and grew together in faith and fellowship. We are grateful for every person who took part and for the commitment they showed along the way.
A special thank you goes to our lecturers, prayer supporters, organizers, donors, and everyone who helped carry this ministry throughout the year.
We rejoice in what God has done — and as we look ahead, we are now preparing for the seventh year of Bible School.
In this short video, you can see feedback from some of our students from this year’s graduation.
