The Sixth Stone: God Provides a Way Forward
The journey of our twelve stones now takes us to Põltsamaa, the hometown of Mattias Haamer, our Assistant to the President. Mattias traveled there together with his wife, Hetek, and their baby son, Luukas.
For Mattias, returning to the town where he grew up and where his father, Markus, still serves as a pastor connects this journey with his own family’s story of faith. Mattias found a stone near the town’s church and brought it to Home of Hope.
The sixth stone is called The Promise of Provision, inspired by Joshua 3:17:
“…stood on dry ground, while all Israel passed by until the whole nation had completed the crossing on dry ground.”
God provided what was needed to bring the work to completion. This stone bears witness that God provides—step by step—until the task is finished and every burden is lifted.
We invite you to watch the video and join Mattias’s family as they bring the sixth stone to Home of Hope.
We are especially grateful to Michael and Mary Fuchs, whose generous gift funded this entire stone and was made in honor of their six grandchildren.
To everyone who has prayed, encouraged us, and contributed—thank you! Each stone represents $30,000 paid toward the mortgage. Six stones have now arrived.
94% of the total cost of establishing Home of Hope has been paid, and only $144,832 remains. The mortgage is due on January 31, 2027.
Please continue to keep our ministry in your prayers. If God places it on your heart, we warmly invite you to help complete this journey. Together, these twelve stones will bear witness to His faithfulness for generations to come.

Creativity Opens the Door at the Home of Hope
The Home of Hope has invited young people to design a T-shirt with a message connected to the Bible. The winning design will become the official Home of Hope T-shirt. By involving young people in creating it, we hope they will also be excited to wear it and share its message.
The competition includes free art workshops, giving participants opportunities to learn, meet others, and visit the Home of Hope—many for the first time. We warmly thank the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Endowment Fund of Gastonia, NC for supporting this project and helping us reach young people through creativity.
On September 19, Estonian artist Saara Väli introduced participants to color theory and led practical exercises. Participants appreciated the warm, encouraging atmosphere, which also helped them get to know one another.
On September 26, artist and T-shirt designer Bibiana Kurm led a workshop on symbols in art, drawing on the Bible and Christian faith. She shared how her faith influences her work and invited participants to explore biblical stories and their meanings. Although the group was small, everyone who attended was new to the Home of Hope and not connected with a church. The afternoon allowed time for personal conversation, including an opportunity to talk about faith and share the Gospel.
We are grateful for the relationships and conversations this project is making possible. Please pray that God will use the competition to draw young people closer to His Word and that the T-shirt they create will open further opportunities to share its message.
