STUDY GUIDE FOR THE BOOK “WE SHALL LIVE IN HEAVEN”

Since the fall of 2023, the Study Guide for the book “We Shall Live in Heaven” has been available. Book study groups are currently held in six churches in the U.S.

My grandfather Harri Haamer was almost 8 years in a Soviet slave labor camp in Siberia after WWII. He was imprisoned because he was a pastor. Fortunately he returned and wrote about his experiences a book “We Shall Live in Heaven”. This is not a dark book, on the contrary, it is even funny and very encouraging and uplifting for Christians today. Reading this book you learn how to keep your faith alive and what it means that hopelessness has no place in our program. You will get to know how Christians suffered under Soviet occupation and you will understand why our mission work is important and at the same time challenging in Estonia.

We encourage you to start a book study group in your church. If you do so, please let me know about your initiative by email siimon.haamer@teoloogia.ee.

The book is available in Amazon amazon.com/dp/994999313X (paperback). E-book and  PDF version of the whole book and also Book Study Guide are available for free at tatest.org/haamer-family/book.

MATCHING FUND

We are pleased to announce that there is $16,700 in the matching fund waiting to be used. Every donation made to the Home of Hope will be doubled from this grant. We are grateful for additional donations to the matching fund. If you want to contribute to this, please contact me by writing to siimon.haamer@teoloogia.ee or by sending a message via Facebook Messenger facebook.com/siimon.haamer.

We need support for our daily activities, but this year our big challenge is paying off the Home of Hope’s mortgage by November 15, 2024. $976,199 still needs to be paid. Every donation is meaningful in this journey. See more at tatest.org/story.

We are very grateful to all supporters and we pray that by giving you will not be deprived, but that you may experience God’s special blessing.
