Why I Support Mission Work in Estonia – Pastor Bob Nordvall

WHY I SUPPORT MISSION WORK IN ESTONIA – PASTOR BOB NORDVALL

We made an interview with Pastor Bob Nordvall from Bismarck, North Dakota. He shares why Estonia is in his heart and how God called him and his wife to dedicate their lives to supporting the work of Tartu Academy of Theology. We have had the privilege of being in fellowship with Bob and his family since 2006. This friendship saved TAT from closure. At first, Bob’s own congregation, Charity Lutheran Church from Bismarck, ND, became our strong supporter. Bob also spread the word about our mission work to other churches and because of this we made many friends and their support gave us the opportunity to continue our work. Today, we no longer think about ending our activities, but our goal is to continue our mission work for generations to come.

MATCHING FUND

At the moment we have $9,950 in the matching fund. Every donation made to the Home of Hope will be doubled from this grant. We are grateful for additional donations to the matching fund in order to encourage others to give their support. If you want to contribute to this, please contact me by writing to siimon.haamer@teoloogia.ee or by sending a message via Facebook Messenger facebook.com/siimon.haamer.

We need support for our daily activities, but this year our big challenge is paying off the Home of Hope’s mortgage by November 15, 2024. $962,699 still needs to be paid. Every donation is meaningful in this journey. See more at tatest.org/story.

We are very grateful to all supporters and we pray that by giving you will not be deprived, but that you may experience God’s special blessing.

VISIT OPPORTUNITIES

I have to inform you that we will not be organizing the Persecution Pilgrimage this June. There were too few requests to participate. Our notice period was probably too short. However, I would like to inform you that we intend to arrange the Persecution Pilgrimage either in the end of May or in the beginning of June 2025. Find more information tatest.org/visit.

Adult Bible Camp Short Term Mission trip from August 14 to 26, 2024 will definitely take place. We still have a few spots available, and if anyone wants to join the team, please let me know by the end of March at the latest. Find more information tatest.org/visit.

Please pray for us!

Blessings,

Pastor Siimon Haamer

President of Tartu Academy of Theology
